Cover Reveal - Runaway Groom

Woo! New Book!
New Cover!

I'm very excited to reveal the new cover by the lovely Sarah Hansen of Okay Creations for my next release: Runaway Groom.

Runaway Groom is a New Adult/Adult Contemporary Romance with an Amazon release date of 9th June. It will be coming out in paperback later in the summer.

Here's a little about it:

Seven years ago, Matthew Logan ran out on his wedding to June Leigh.
Life is good for fledgling dress-designer April Leigh. She couldn’t be happier that her sister has found a new love, and is excited about her very first commission, June’s wedding dress.
When April discovers June has invited runaway groom Matthew Logan to the wedding, she has to intervene. Matthew’s presence will ruin everything – her father hates him, and just the sight of him in the church might give her mother a heart attack.
Matthew Logan has no intention of going to June’s wedding, but when intriguing April arrives on his doorstep, he can’t resist getting to know her better. When a disaster forces them together neither can deny the passion that combusts into a red-hot affair.
Discovering the truth about the past shifts April’s feelings from lust to love, but bitter experience has taught Matthew to guard his heart.
When it looks as though Matthew will lose her forever, will he fight or flee?

Just out - my new Book - Angel All Year

My latest story, Angel All Year,  is a shorter than normal one for me, it's 12,000 words, so longer than a short story, and shorter than a novella... It is new on Amazon today and available now.

Here's the blurb and my lovely new cover... the cover was designed by Angie-O Creations.

Being dead sucks.
Angela Reilly doesn’t like being an Angel. She’d much prefer to be the bride she was on the day she died. Instead of the life she’d dreamed of, she gets to watch her heartbroken husband fall to pieces in the year after her death, without a hope of offering comfort.

Lucen Bright is new angel Angela’s mentor, a job he’s finding increasingly difficult as he falls in love with his ward. Tasked with helping Angela move on in the afterlife, he must be there for her as her husband falls in love with someone new – not an easy task considering he tried to kill the man who replaced him in his own wife’s affections.

Romance’s flame flickers as Lucen and Angela grow closer. But when her husband Tom dies, will Angela re-unite with the love of her life – or pledge herself to the love of her afterlife?

Available at Amazon UK and .Com  now!

Revamping New Beginnings

New Look! Woo!
My very first 'go' at self publishing was a collection of short stories called New Beginnings, which has been on Amazon since February 2011, and over the past few days, I've had a new cover done for the ebook, and I've gone out of KDP Select with this title, so that I can make it ...
Permanently Free

It may take a day or so for the new cover to replace the previous - uh - snowdrop cover, but this is what will be there when it updates.
Over the next week or two, New Beginnings will start populating through the ebook retailers with a free price tag, and eventually Amazon will also make it free.

I'm delighted to do a reveal here - I've got my very own Jimmy Thomas cover, and I couldn't be happier with it!

I normally commission custom artwork, but broke with my usual cover tradition this time the moment that I saw this pre-made cover on Ramona Lockwood's site:

As New Beginnings is a collection of three very different short stories, I couldn't choose a specific look for the cover, but I think the couple and the pose, echoed by the pleasing use of curves in the typeface do exactly what I wanted them to.

I think Ramona did a great job, do click on the link to her website above and have a look at her other work!

New Beginnings will be available free on Amazon and everywhere else in a couple of weeks. But if you absolutely can't wait and must have it now - it'll cost 99c!

Coming in July...

Love On The Vine has a release date!
11 July 2012.

It's from the Wild Rose Press, and is part of their 'The Flower Basket' series, set in Almendra in California. This story has a sweet rating, which means lots of smoulder, but no 'spicy' stuff - perfect for those who find my spicy stuff too hot! It features a sexy french vineyard owner, transplanted into California soil, and the woman (daughter of the man determined to destroy him) who he needs to help him launch his new vintage...

Here's an excerpt...

Her eyes sparkled and shone, and her cheeks were pink. Her body moved in perfect harmony with the relentless beat.
Ice chilled his top lip as Etienne took a long swallow of his drink and smiled back. With any luck, she wouldn’t see how much her dancing affected him.
With a flip of her hand, she pointed at her feet, mouthing watch. A mock frown creased her brow.
Of course, he’d watch her, he couldn’t drag away his gaze as her feet repeated the steps. The pattern didn’t look too hard. And he’d always had a good sense of rhythm.
The music faded. Bella returned quickly to the table and picked up her glass. “Okay, so those are the basics.” She drank deeply. “Are you ready to try it?”
“I’d prefer to just watch you.” He trailed a finger down her cheek, feeling the sharp tug of attraction as her eyes darkened to jade. “You look beautiful.”
“So do you.” She tilted up her chin.
Etienne stood and snaked a hand around her waist to hold her close.
At the action, her lips parted and her eyelashes fluttered closed.
She looked like a woman who wanted to be kissed. Instead, he moved his lips to her ear, speaking words intended for her alone. “Would you like me to kiss you?” He felt her shiver. “If you do, you have to tell me, remember?”
Her long, dark eyelashes fluttered and her eyes opened, staring straight into his.
The arousal in their depths stunned Etienne to his core.
“I want you to kiss me,” she murmured.

And in the meantime, why not head over to Amazon and check out The Morning After?

I have a cover!

I have just received my cover for my book The Morning After, and I love it! It perfectly shows the couple, Ethan and Cara, and hints at paparazzi action in the background.

I'm going to launch this book in the next week or two, and will give a shout when it's up. As usual, if anyone buys and likes, I'd love a review!

What do you think?
